Top Norwalk Dems Sticking with Joe

posted October 25th

As the Norwalk Hour reported on its front page, Norwalk Common Council President Michael W. Coffey, defacto leader of the Norwalk Democrats, announced that he is sticking with Joe, touting Joe’s integrity and record of results.

Coffey said:

"Joseph Lieberman is someone who does what he thinks is right for the residents of Norwalk, right for the state of Connecticut and what's right for our country. I'd like to see him serve six more years as a U.S. senator for the state of Connecticut. He has done an excellent job."

Coffey’s fellow Councilman Herbert A. Grant also threw his support to Joe, touting Joe’s experience and ability to work across party lines to get things done.

Herbert A. Grant, who represents District A on the Common Council said:

"His experience as a Senator for this area gives him the seniority and the ability to be able to work in a bi-partisan manner to continue to help the state of Connecticut to get its equal share of federal funds, to advance the state as well as its largest municipalities."

The last few months have exposed Joe LIE-man as a fraud as much as Bush has being incompetent.

It is not merely 18 years experience but 18 years of feeding at the trough in Washington. Enough is enough.

Change course. Elect Lamont and get rid of Stay-the-course Joe LIE-man.

"..Joe’s experience and ability to work across party lines to get things done."

You mean "successfully reach across party lines for handouts from the lobbyists ..."

Its amazing how Joe's campaign is being financed by the worst of the Republicans and the least principled of Democrats.

Joe does what he thinks is right. Fuck-all that the citizens for whom he does these 'right' things don't happen to agree with his opinion. Stupid children, don't worry your little heads, daddy Joe will make all those tough decisions for you. If your sons and daughters get killed or maimed in an imperialistic neo-con war of agression, well, that's a real shame. But he wants to bring them home [insert unicorns and rainbows here].

I think the that a majority of the Norwalk Common Council is now backing Joe Lieberman. Every one of those council members has more experience than Ned Lamont does. The only difference is that Ned has 100 million dollars and they don't.
