Ford backs Lieberman

posted October 18th

We are proud to say that the next Democratic Senator from Tennessee, Harold Ford Jr., re-endorsed Joe Lieberman today for the general election.

As the AP reported today, Congressman Ford reiterated his support for Lieberman Monday on a local radio talk show.

"I support Joe Lieberman. He knows that. I've made that clear from the very beginning," Ford said Monday on the radio talk show of conservative host Steve Gill.

Show your appreciation by supporting Harold Ford.

I think both Farrell and Murphy are even prouder that they openly supports Lamont and vice versa than having Joe LIE-man's support.

How about mentioning that you guys are proud of DICK and BUSH's support as well?

Can Connecticut RISK Another Lieberman Term?

Can you imagine what would happen here in Connecticut if we had a major hurricane before we get rid of Lieberman's "FEMA Leadership"?

Lieberman is responsible for Rubber-Stamping "Heckuva Job Brownie" to his FEMA leadership post in an astonishing 42 minutes without checking references. Later on, even after the problems with Brown's qualifications were revealed Lieberman refused to do anything about it. Then, Katrina struck. The result: thousands of dead Americans. Post-Katrina? Lieberman has done nothing. Lieberman has learned nothing. He won't even accept that he's done anything wrong. Lieberman has told us he "doesn't want to play the blame game". FEMA is still broken.

But accountability is not a game, and Lieberman is responsible for those lost lives.

Do we really want to be the next NOLA?

Keep Connecticut and America Safe. Vote for ANYONE But Lieberman

Note: I am not affiliated with the Lamont campaign in any shape or form.

Harold Ford comes a very red state, TENN and talking to a conservative talk show host -- duh!!!!!!!!

So Joe has to reach out to the red state Democrats because he can't get his own party to support him. And Ford thinks he's going to remain a Democrat -- what a sucker!!!!!!!

P.S. Besides Harold Ford isn't a Senator, he's a Congressman!!!

The leader Sen. Harry Reid sent out an email to all of the Democratic voters to support Ned Lamont today -- so I think that counts a lot more than Harold Ford's endorsement!

What a slime bag. This is a huge shame, I'd always respected Ford and considered him a front-runner to be our first African-American President. NO MORE. I have informed his campaign both by phone and email that I will actively aid any future primary challengers he may have for the remainder of his political career [I'll never go so far as to support a repug]. Disgusting and sad.
